The Avon Ladies go to Va Beach!
Danielle planned the annual beach weekend, this year at Virginia Beach! 12 girls, 2 rooms.... You do the math. After flying
into BWI at different times, me, Ali, Andreea "The Popa", and D hit the road in her Cabrio for the 4-hour journey
south to VA Beach. We stayed at the swanky and luxurious Super 8 on Atlantic Blvd, which boasts THE slowest elevator on the
face of the earth! Regardless, we had a great time. Read on for more stories and to see the pretty pictures.

After Andreea's lost luggage, and rediculous traffic outside DC, a little road soda was in order. Hey! The Popa! Make sure
you don't spill any of that on your nice-a white-a suit-a!

Moryma, Kathy, and Danielle at some random bar/club. The Avon Ladies are having a good time!

Ali and Carrie gettin' their groove on.

Salt and Pepa here! Me and Moryma have been playing the parts of Salt and Pepa since our junior year in high school when
a photo of us was taken at a McDonald's in Southwick, MA where we were shaking the respective seasonings on our fries. Push
it real good!

Grandpa and son, 2001. Don't even ask....

Here's our view from our balcony high atop the Super 8. We met the friendly neighbor boys who later borrowed our chairs and
invited us to party with them. No thanks, you greasy sketch-jobs!

The Brulotte sisters doing a little shopping. You think they can BOTH fit into that suit?

Heeeey Mon!

Liz, Danielle, and The Popa look like they are trying to do "The Wave" while Ali finds more interesting ways to
amuse herself...

Conveniently located right next door to the Super 8 was the fabulous Maple Tree Pancake House. We ate there a couple times.
We marveled at the classy decor and pondered "Why does that dog have shoes on his ears?" The servers were rather
scary, but the food was delicious. You should surely check it out, if not for the eats, then for the mural of the forest
and cartoon bears, and the bamboo poles.

Danielle's celly decided to crap out on her at BWI airport. How convenient that there was an outlet available by the check-in
counter! Here she is, talking to her boy Pat (A.K.A. by Ali's son Jaiden as "The Big Guy").

For a good time, call The Avon Ladies :)
